The American Indian Faculty and Staff Association aims to provide visibility, support, advocacy, and community building for American Indians at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ. AI-FSA aims to promote recruitment, retention, professional development, and the advancement of faculty and staff at the university, thereby, upholding principles of educational equity and empowerment of all members of the American Indian community at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ. AI-FSA supports the work of ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ’s NAGPRA Committee, and community building within ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ and the larger American Indian community.

Mission:
The mission of the Beach Employee Alliance of Parents and Caregivers (BEAPAC) Affinity Group is to cultivate a campus culture that recognizes and values the many caregiving roles faculty and staff hold, uniting faculty and staff who are parents and caregivers of younger or older ones, or those interested in our objectives, to exchange experiences, resources, and insights.
Through collaborative efforts and mutual support, the goal of the affinity group is to foster a nurturing environment that empowers parents and caregivers to excel both personally and professionally, while also enhancing the overall well-being of our families by raising awareness of pertinent issues. Additionally, the affinity group aims to provide a platform for parents and caregivers to offer input to on-campus care resources, shape initiatives, programming, policies, and more within ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ.

The mission of the Black Faculty & Staff (BFAS) Community is to build a community amongst Black professionals at ÃÛÌÒÓ°ÏñState University, Long Beach that cultivates a supportive atmosphere, provides an opportunity to connect, and contributes to student success by building a foundation of resources for the community and support for Black students at the Beach.
