REGULATION XV - 2023/2024

POLICY PROHIBITING DISCRIMINATION, HARASSMENT AND RETALIATION; COMPLAINT RESOLUTION PROCEDURES

The CSU prohibits: Discrimination, including Harassment, because of any Protected Status: i.e., Age, Disability (physical and mental), Gender (or sex), Gender Identity (including nonbinary and transgender), Gender Expression, Genetic Information, Marital Status, Medical Condition, Nationality, Race or Ethnicity (including color, caste, or ancestry), Religion (or religious creed), Sexual Orientation, Veteran or Military Status. The CSU strives to be free of all forms of Discrimination, including Harassment, because of a Protected Status. It is CSU policy that no person or Student shall be excluded from participation in, or be denied the benefits of,

any CSU program or activity because of any Protected Status (CSU Nondiscrimination Policy).

Retaliation against a Student for exercising any rights under this policy or for opposing Discrimination or Harassment because of a Protected Status, Sexual Misconduct, Sexual Exploitation, Dating or Domestic Violence, Stalking, Retaliation or for participating in any manner in any policy-related investigation or proceeding is prohibited.

The University will respond to all Complaints and will take appropriate action to prevent, correct, and discipline conduct that violates this policy. To report alleged violations, an individual or Student may submit a formal written Complaint to the DHR Administrator (Discrimination, Harassment, and Retaliation) or Title IX Coordinator (Sex Discrimination, Sexual Exploitation, Sexual Harassment, Sexual Misconduct, Dating and Domestic Violence, and Stalking).
