Jose Rodriguez
José I. RodrÃguez, Ph.D., is a professor in the Department of Communication Studies at ÃÛÌÒÓ°ÏñState University, Long Beach.
Dr. RodrÃguez is an award-winning social scientist, who is an expert in the development, delivery, and decoding of persuasive messages. He has presented more than 40 research papers in the areas of fear-based messages, social obligation, deception, empathy, intercultural communication, and popular culture. His work has appeared on ABC7 Eyewitness News, TEDxÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ, and KMEX 34 Univision in Los Angeles.
Professor RodrÃguez holds a doctorate degree in communication from Michigan State University.
