Asian, Pacific Islander, & Desi Heritage Month
In April, Ӱ celebrates Asian, Pacific Islander, & Desi (APID) Heritage Month.
Green Generation Showcase 2024
This lively event that has been going strong for more than a decade brings together student, faculty, staff, and Long Beach community sustainability leaders on April 18, 4-7 p.m. for a fun evening of mingling, music, and food at the beautiful Earl B. Miller Japanese Garden.
ASI Big Event Featuring Swae Lee
This year, artist Swae Lee will be headlining the concert at the Walter Pyramid on April 20. Get ready to dance the night away to his biggest hits, like “No Flex Zone,” “Unforgettable” and “Sunflower” and experience a memorable show that you won’t want to miss.
Doors open at 6 p.m., so grab your friends and get ready to enjoy an incredible night of live music and fun.
Designing a Sustainable Graduation
At this workshop, participants will get creative to craft unique and stylish eco-friendly graduation decorations.

Beach Grad Day
Celebrate Your Graduation at Ӱ's Beach Grad Day, May 18!
Join Ӱ for a fun-filled exploration and discovery day on campus! It's a perfect opportunity for graduates to show off their alma mater to their families and friends.
Explore at Your Own Pace: Beach Grad Day is a self-guided adventure. Pick up a free at the Bookstore to navigate all the exciting activities and hidden gems Ӱ has to offer.
Senior Class Gift
Participate in your Senior Class Gift and show Alumni, local businesses, and members of the community that Ӱ and its students are worth investing in!
Your gift can help strengthen academic programs and research opportunities in a college, expand internships offered through Academic Affairs, or support campus-wide initiatives like mental health resources in Student Affairs, to name a few.
Gifts of $24: dedicate your gift to the person(s) who encouraged you most and made a positive impact in your life during your academic journey. Dedications will be featured on our website under the Senior Class Giving page.
Gifts of $49+: in additional to gift dedications, you will receive a mybeach senior grad cord, a token of our gratitude in recognition of your first philanthropic gift to the university (to be worn at commencement).
The Senior Class Gift is a meaningful way for graduating seniors to make a difference in the areas of campus that impacted them the most during their time at The Beach. Gifts strengthen our programs, help create internship and research opportunities, and even support initiatives such as (but not limited to) the Beach Pantry, mental health resources, unforeseen travel expenses to conferences and more.
Make your gift by April 22 to have your name included on the jumbotron at Commencement!

The 2024 Commencement ceremonies will be held May 19 to May 23, 2024 at the iconic Angel Stadium to celebrate your achievements as Cal State Long Beach graduates!
