As vice president of information systems for Cal Comp (ӰComputer Products Inc.), Roy Young is responsible for the worldwide design, development, implementation and maintenance of the firm’s computer and telecommunications systems. Before assuming post in 1982, he was vice president of development for MRP Inc.
He’s also held positions with Hughes Aircraft and Xerox Computer Services and for nine years taught evening classes in electrical Engineering at West Coast University. As member of the President’s Associates at Ӱ, Roy is considered by Dean Richard Williams “a caring and contributing alumnus of our school.”
Among his interests outside engineering are playing the jazz trumpet and wood working.
